While pulleys and sheaves have long been our major business, our production capabilities can also manufacture non-pulley parts. NHI is your capable “one stop shop.”

For parts that are turned (screw machine and CNC), broached, split-formed, welded (projection, spot, and/or seam) or assembled, look to NHI to provide quality products at cost effective prices. We also work with cast and molded products, ensuring that your parts arrive at your door complete ready to install, reducing your assembly time.

History

NHI, in Lebanon, New Hampshire originated the New Hampshire Industries name back in the early 1960’s, starting as a Splitball Bearing (now Timken Aerospace) spin off. Known as an idler pulley producer for nearly 30 years, NHI added drive pulleys in 1990 and spindles in 1998. To service our customers better, we added a line of cast pulleys and sheaves in 2001.

Our original bearing design started the company (our “A” series) in the moderate load and speed idler line. Idlers for higher loads and speeds are available (our “H” Series), as are machined drive pulleys, split-formed drive pulleys, cast and machined drive sheaves. The spindles produced are an example of products that use our manufacturing capabilities and are a logical extension of NHI products, often being used in conjunction with a pulley that we produce.
